The chief negotiators of Serbia and Kosovo reached an agreement on Dec. 17 in Brussels to implement a declaration aimed at resolving the fate of more than 1,600 still missing people following the 1990s conflict.

BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak welcomed on Wednesday the conclusion of negotiations on operationalising a declaration on missing persons as an "important step" and announced that a joint commission on missing persons would meet soon.
