Istanbul’s historical places increase visitor numbers
As Istanbul's historical sites are flooded with visitors, historical structures affiliated with the National Palaces in the country welcomed more than 7 million visitors in 2023.
The number of visitors to the palaces, mansions, pavilions and museums increased by 9 percent in 2023 compared to the previous year, reaching 7,261,241.
National Palaces host over 6 million visitors in 2022
The number of tourists visiting the palaces, mansions and pavilions affiliated to the Presidency of the National Palaces broke a record in 2022 by reaching more than 6 million with an increase of 98 percent compared to 2021.
