Serbian President Aleksandar Vui attends the event marking the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag in Bijeljina.
The event was organized on the Square of King Peter I Karadjordjevi in Bijeljina, and a large number of citizens gathered.
The ceremony began with the singing of the anthems of Serbia and Republika Srpska.

Starting from September, when the new school year begins, pupils in high schools in Republika Srpska will have mandatory religion classes.
Over the next few months, officials from Republika Srpska and the Serbian Orthodox Church will work on a detailed plan for the classes.
Dodik's car stopped for speeding in Croatia
However, the leader of the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina denied that he demanded spacial treatment when he was stopped on his way to the town of Karlovac.
The Banja Luka daily Nezavisne is reporting Dodik as saying that his car was moving at "over 180 kilometers per hour" - and that the fine was "astronomical."

Serbia ready to build Belgrade-Sarajevo highway
Deputy PM and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke on Friday with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Tanju Bilgic.
According to the Serbian government, they spoke about "the next steps in the realization of the project for the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway."

Russia Slaps New Ban on Bosnian Apples
Russia has suspended imports of apples from Bosnia and Herzegovina after customs officials found that one company from the eastern Bosnian town of Bijeljina had imported fruit from a third country and re-exported it to Russia, claiming it was from Bosnia, Bosnia's Plant Protection Directorate said on Friday
