Bijeljina massacre

Dragomir Vasic, a former police chief who is now a lawmaker in the country’s Serb-led Republika Srpska entity parliament, is charged with taking part in the 1995 genocide of Bosniaks.

Four former Bosnian Serb soldiers were detained on suspicion of participating in the killings and rapes of Bosniaks and other inhuman acts in the Sanski Most area.

Bosnian police on Dec. 16 arrested 10 former high ranking Bosnian Serb police and soldiers suspected of killing dozens of Muslim civilians at the start of the country's 1992-1995 war.
      

Ex-policemen Slobodan Tarandzic and Dusko Zec were sentenced to three years in prison each for war crimes over the killing of a Bosniak in the Serb-led Republika Srpska entity in 1993.

Fifteen Bosnian Serbs arrested on suspicion of seizing 20 passengers from a train in the Bosnian town of Strpci in 1993 and killing them have been remanded in custody for a month.
