Ministry of the Interior Assists Bulgarian Voters Without Valid IDs Ahead of Elections

The Ministry of the Interior, along with the Metropolitan Directorate, will support Bulgarian citizens without valid ID documents to ensure they can vote in the upcoming National Assembly elections on October 27, 2024. Sofia Introduces New Free Public Transport Cards for Children and Students

Children and students in Sofia will soon benefit from new, free public transport cards. All children up to 14 years old will have the opportunity to travel for free within the city with these newly designed cards. The new cards feature a distinctive design aimed specifically for young travelers.

Needless paperwork to be abolished

As part of the government's stated commitment to crack down on needless and time-consuming bureaucracy, the Digital Governance Ministry plans to gradually abolish the endless number of certificates required in the transactions between citizens and both the private and public sectors with the introduction of the relevant legislation in the coming months.

Mladjan Radivojevic from Aleksinac, who four years ago filed a criminal complaint with the Association for the Truth and Justice of Missing Babies that he was abducted, appeared in Krusevac today with his biological sister and DNA analysis that confirms that.
Mladjan is the first person proven to have been stolen as a baby.
