For the fifth consecutive day, the fire on the Bulgarian-Greek border remains critical. This morning, firefighters and forest officials ascended Slavyanka Mountain to inspect the clearings made and the areas in Greece where the fire continues to burn.

Blagoevgrad. The Regional Prosecutor's Office has ordered an immediate investigation over the collapse of the Mall Largo facade in Blagoevgrad, said the press office of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office - Sofia. 

After a landslide in the area of ??the Kresna Gorge, a stretch of highway E-79 between Sandanski and Kulata was closed Thursday.

No injuries have been reported at this time and no cars have passed in the critical section of the motorway in the Blagoevgrad municipality.

Torrential rains have managed to break the landslide preventative net.
