Airbus net profits soar to 2.7 bln euros on rising orders
Airbus Group said on Feb. 24 its net profits climbed 15 percent last year and predicted deliveries of more than 650 aircraft in 2016 and a rise in orders to record levels.
The France-based European aerospace group chalked up a net profit of 2.7 billion euros ($3 billion), with sales up 6 percent to 64 billion euros.
TAI delivers first set of A350-1000 ailerons to Airbus
Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) has said it made its first delivery of an A350-1000 aileron set to Airbus in a ceremony held at TAI's facilities on Nov. 3.
The delivery was the result of a contract signed nearly two years ago as an addition to the contract for an A350-900 program between the two companies, said TAI in a press release on Nov. 4.

Turkish Aerospace Industries to produce new body part for Airbus A320
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has reached an agreement with European aeronautics giant Airbus to produce another body part for the jet maker's A320 planes.
TAI, which has been manufacturing Section 18 fuselage panels for the A320 family as a single source supplier since 2014, will now produce the body part Section 19 as well.
