Greek Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis is due to meet with the US senator for New Jersey, Cory Booker, at 12 noon on Tuesday.

Booker is a member of the Senate's Foreign Relations Committee, among other committees.
The meeting was originally scheduled for 11 a.m.

Gerapetritis was in Luxembourg on Monday for the EU's Foreign Affairs Council meeting. [AMNA]

Irish writer Paul Lynch won the Booker Prize for fiction on Nov. 26 with what judges called a "soul-shattering" novel about a woman's struggle to protect her family as Ireland collapses into totalitarianism and war.

An English translation of Polish novel "Flights," which interweaves narratives of travel with explorations of the human body, was on May 22 named as the winner of the prestigious Man Booker International Prize.
