GERB's Borisov To Sue BSP's Ninova

GERB's chairman Boyko Borisov is initiating a law suit against the chairwoman of BSP Korneliya Ninova. Borisov's suit against Ninova is because of her statement regarding Borisov - "You are a thief", made on Thursday morning on Nova TV, announced GERB.

With this statement, Ninova is damaging the honour and dignity of Boyko Borisov and breaking the law.

Main Rivals in Bulgaria's Election to Clash in Televised Debate

Boyko Borisov and Korneliya Ninova, who head the two biggest parties in the previous Parliament, have agreed to hold their first debate on Wednesday.

The clash will be aired live by the three biggest broadcasters - the BNT, bTV and NOVA - with each of the stations represented by one journalist who will ask questions. 

BSP's Ninova: I Have Long Waited To Settle Things With Mr. Borisov Man-To-Man

BSP's leader Korneliya Ninova announced that she has waited for a long time to settle things with Boyko Borisov man-to-man. The reason for Ninova's announcement was the statement of GERB's leader on Friday that he wants a debate, not between himself and Ninova alone, but with the participation of experts in different policies.

Ex-PM 'Informed by EU Migration Commissioner' of Fresh Aid to Bulgaria

Former Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has argued EU Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos "personally informed" him about EUR 6.1 M worth of new funding to tackle the migrant crisis.

"The Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Finance must find the legal possibility for having a police officer in aevery village, or at least one police officer for two villages," daily 24 Chasa quotes Borisov as saying before a cabinet meeting.
