EU to recommend opening membership talks with Bosnia
The EU's executive arm will on Tuesday recommend that member states open formal membership talks with Bosnia, European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen announced.
The country has been an official membership candidate since 2022 but needed to implement a string of major reforms before opening accession negotiations with the 27-nation bloc.

The European Commission will recommend the commencement of membership negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, signaling a significant milestone in the country's journey toward EU integration. Speaking during a plenary session in Strasbourg, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen lauded the progress achieved by Bosnia and Herzegovina since being granted candidate status.
Brnabic meets with Covic in Mostar
MOSTAR - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met on Tuesday in Mostar with Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic, who chairs the Croat People Caucus of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting in the Caucus building began shortly before 10 am.

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Thursday in Davos with Bernard Emie, head of the Directorate-General for External Security at the French defence ministry.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile, Vucic wrote that the discussion with Emie, which took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, had been substantial and useful.
