Protests Against Vucic in Belgrade Escalate
Protests against Serbia's President Aleksander Vucic continue, and tensions escalate. On Sunday, protesters tried to enter the presidency during a demonstration provoked by Vucic. They broke through the defensive fence and reached the entrance to the building of the Serbian presidency, Tanjug reported, quoted by BTA.

Thousands Rally in Belgrade Against Serbian President
Thousands marched through Belgrade's frozen city center on Saturday to protest against President Aleksandar Vucic and his ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and demand media freedoms and end to attacks against journalists and opposition figures, reports Reuters.

A column of people marched through the streets of Belgrade on Saturday evening in the fifth such protest against political violence in the country and putting more pressure on the government to fulfil their demands.
Opposition shouldn't accept elections, says ex president
However, the former president said that the opposition should not accept elections while President Aleksandar Vucic has full control over election processes and the media.
New protest held in Belgrade
The organizers announced that between 35,000 and 40,000 people took part, but Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic later cited police estimates that said 5,000 protesters attended the rally.
The protest opened with a moment of silence to honor the victims of a collision between a bus and a train in southern Serbia on Friday.

Protesters have demands for public broadcaster
Protesters have sent their demands to Serbia's public broadcaster RTS.
According to the organizer's announcement, "Radio Television Serbia (RTS) should be a public service for all citizens, instead, it is an accomplice in concealing the truth and creating a parallel, false reality that Aleksandar Vucic has been creating for six years."

President on protest: "I won't meet any of their demands"
"You want elections? What do you want? For me to give in to you, that nonsense of yours and what you stand for - I will not. I didn't when they (protesters) walked for four months. I tell you in advance, it's the farthest thing from my mind," Vucic told reporters on Sunday, after a panel organized by his ruling SNS.
