Borodin Quartet

The Borodin Quartet was founded in 1945 in the then Soviet Union. It is one of the world's longest-lasting string quartets, whose members have traditionally been graduates of the Moscow Conservatory.

The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Borodin Quartet at a ceremony held on June 4 at the Hagia Irene Museum. 

The quartet received the award from Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV) President Görgün Taner and Istanbul Music Festival Director Ye?im Gürer Oymak.
