Number of investors in Borsa Istanbul rising again
The number of investors in Borsa Istanbul has picked up again in the past two weeks with new initial public offerings on the stock exchange.
Some investors left the stock exchange in the past months due to the combination of several factors. The interest rates on saving accounts rose, while the performance of the shares offered via public offerings was disappointing.

Economic model helps limit exchange rate volatility: Nebati
Türkiye's economic model helps limit the effects of the volatility in exchange rate, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati has said.
The Türkiye Economic Model supports exports by adopting the value-added production approach, he added.
"With this mode, the impacts of exchange rate volatility, which is occasionally experienced, is limited," Nebati wrote on Twitter.
Borsa Istanbul visits companies
Borsa Istanbul has said that it provides detailed information about IPO processes and capital markets by conducting planned and regular visits to industrial enterprises.
The statement by Borsa Istanbul recalled that the list of the top 1000 largest industrial enterprises of Türkiye was announced.

Borsa Istanbul elects new CEO
Turkey's stock exchange Borsa Istanbul has elected Korkmaz Enes Ergun as its new CEO.
Ergun, who was elected at an ordinary general assembly of Borsa Istanbul on March 26, has 24 years of experience in the stock exchange and capital markets. He had previously served as the deputy general manager of Borsa Istanbul where he was responsible for quotation.

Turkey’s stock exchange managing director resigns
Borsa Istanbul's Managing Director Hakan Atilla has resigned, a statement said on March 8.
The board of directors has accepted the resignation and the decision was notified to the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

Qatar becomes 10% shareholder of Turkey's stock exchange
The acquisition of a 10% share in Turkish stock exchange Borsa Istanbul by the Qatari state Investment Authority was completed on Nov. 30.
According to a statement from the Turkiye Wealth Fund (TWF), the transaction size of $200 million implies a total equity value of $2 billion.
