Turkish Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın said on Nov. 20 an incident during a recent NATO drill where the names of the Turkish Republic’s founder and current president were used in an “enemy chart” should be investigated carefully.

Turkey has received a request from the United States to solve an escalating row between the two countries, the spokesman for President Erdogan said on Thursday, after a U.S. consulate worker was arrested in Istanbul last week.

Ibrahim Kalin, a spokesperson for the Turkish president, has told a Belgrade daily that Recep Erdogan's visit to Serbia went in "an extraordinary atmosphere."

The stance adopted by Germany and other European countries "attacking Turkey and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan" is a reflection of Europe's "narrowing horizon," presidential spokesperson İbrahim Kalın said on Sept. 4.

Turkish Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın on July 31 criticized statements by U.S. anti-Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) coalition envoy Brett McGurk that linked Turkey to terror groups operating in northwestern Syria.        

Turkish Presidential spokesman said on May 19 it is not correct to categorize terrorists as 'good' or 'bad'. 

Speaking at a discussion with the visitors of the 9th Kocaeli Book Fair in northwestern Turkey, İbrahim Kalın said everybody should fight terrorism. 

Turkey's new presidential system will end weak coalition governments and strengthen checks and balances, İbrahim Kalın, presidential spokesperson, has said. 

Kalın wrote an article for U.K. newspaper the Guardian which said Turkey's short-lived coalition governments of the past had crippled its economy, weakened national institutions and paved the way for coups. 

There is a possibility that Turkish ministers could plan another rally in Germany ahead of an April 16 referendum on changing the constitution, presidential spokesperson İbrahim Kalın said on March 19, a move that could further heighten tension with Berlin.

Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın called on Israel to act with "common sense" over the initial approval of a draft law that will silence the Muslim call to prayer at certain hours, saying "the response of the Muslim world will be loud and clear."
