Piraeus Bank ATMs torched in Pefki
Unknown assailants set fire to two ATMs at the Piraeus Bank branch in Pefki, northern Athens, early on Tuesday morning.
The arson attack caused damage to the two cash machines located outside the bank branch at 43 Irini Avenue.
Police are conducting an investigation to locate the perpetrators.

Island mayors protest Alpha Bank closures
Alpha Bank has unexpectedly decided to shut its branches on the islands of Tilos, Kasos and Lipsoi, forcing local residents to travel by boat to another island to get their banking done, their mayors said on Tuesday, according to the state-run Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

Piraeus Bank restructuring sees closure of 70 branches
Piraeus Bank has shut down 70 branches in the last few weeks as a part of the groups restructuring that has seen its network shrink from 1,350 branches in early 2013 to 800 today, or a reduction of 41 percent.
