Disgraced defense minister plans to host holiday reception
Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic, whose dismissal has been announced, expects to be in office next week and host a reception.
The event to mark New Year and Christmas holidays has been scheduled for next Tuesday, with invitations sent out listing Gasic and Serbian Army (VS) chief Ljubisa Dikovic as the hosts.

Migrants bring no threat of terrorism - defense minister
The Serbian Army is monitoring the entry of migrants into the country and their further journey through Serbia, Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic has said.
He told the state broadcaster RTS that "every migrant goes through a detailed check" and that so far, this process "revealed nothing that might indicate a risk of terrorism."
U.S. National Guard funds refurbishing of two facilities
Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic and U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby visited on Thursday the two facilities in Bujanovac, southern Serbia.
