Tax office freezes assets of famous Greek singer Antonis Remos
The Money Laundering Authority has reportedly found that the famous singer Antonis Remos allegedly concealed an income of 1.3 million euros to avoid tax and has proceeded to freeze his assets amounting 1.5 million euros.
The investigation was launched several months ago and its findings were set out in a 20-page report. It was submitted to the prosecutor's office on June 11.
FM due in Russia to attend BRICS meeting
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will embark on a two-day visit to Russia on June 10 to participate in a gathering of counterparts from the BRICS group of emerging economies, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

Air France, Airbus face trial over 2009 Rio-Paris disaster
Air France and aircraft maker Airbus go on trial in Paris today on charges of involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 crash of a flight from Brazil, killing all 228 people aboard.
The case focuses on alleged insufficient pilot training and a defective speed monitoring probe, which was quickly replaced on planes worldwide in the months after the accident.
Brazil Suspends Millions of Doses from Chinese Vaccine
The sanitary regulator of Brazil suspended the use of just over 12.1 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine manufactured by the Chinese company Sinovac after knowing that the vials containing the vaccines were filled on an unauthorized production base.
