PM’s office announces new press team

The prime minister's office has announced changes in the composition of its press team.

According to the announcement, long-term economics reporter Panos Amyras has taken over as general director of press and information.

Journalist Christos Zografos will manage the press office, with Alexandros Marakis as his deputy.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was still in hospital on April 6 suffering persistent coronavirus symptoms 10 days after testing positive for the virus, although Downing Street said he remained in charge of the government.

"The PM is still at hospital," a British government source said. "He spent the night in hospital."
