The Buena Vista All Stars, led by Ibrahim Ferrer Jr, son of Buena Vista Social Club's golden-voiced singer, will perform songs whose popularity spread across the world with Wim Wenders' 1999 documentary about the music of Cuba at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on June 29.

The Goethe Institute (14-16 Omirou, goethe.de) is screening two Wim Wenders classics on Monday, free of charge, in a tribute organized in cooperation with the Premiere Nights Athens Film Festival to Michel Demopoulos, the filmmaker and former artistic director of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival who passed away last month.

Photographer Renate Graf's exhibition "Going Back in Time and the Silk Road" is welcoming visitors at Ankara CerModern, in a joint program organized by the Institut Français Ankara, the embassies of France and Austria, and CerModern.

More than 140 films that have been screened and/or awarded at leading European film festivals such as Cannes and Berlin make up the seven-week annual Tainiorama film panorama, taking place at the Asty cinema in downtown Athens from May 16 to July 3. There will be three screenings every night - starting at 6 p.m. - with films organized according to theme.

Internationally renowned director Wim Wenders arrives in Sofia on April 5 at the invitation of the Bulgarian commissioner for digital economy and digital society Mariya Gabriel, the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria announced.
