NSSI: Increase in Bulgaria's Average Pension, Decrease in the Number of Pensioners

Over the last 10 years the average pension in Bulgaria has increased and the number of pensioners has decreased, according to NSSI data. The increase of the average pension is 102 leva - from 234 to 332 leva. For the same period, the number of pensioners has decreased by 50 thousand.

BNB Puts a Silver Commemorative Coin "Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi" into Circulation

Today The Bulgarian National Bank puts a silver commemorative coin "Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi" from the series "Bulgarian Revival" into circulation.

The price of the coin is 78 leva.

It will be sold in BNB, as well as in offices and branches of four more banks.

Almost 3000 Farmers have Received over 3 million leva for Pest Control

The State Fund "Agriculture" transferred over 3 million leva (BGN 3 031 795) under the scheme "Aid for compensating farmers for the implementation of measures under the National Program for Pest Control on Perennials during the Winter Period" in 2019. 2,959 producers who grow perennial fruit, strawberries and raspberries received subsidies.

JYSK Opens 5 New Stores in Bulgaria by the End of August

Danish furniture and household goods chain JYSK plans to open five new stores on the Bulgarian market by the end of August.

Meanwhile, the company's distribution base in the Bozhurishte area, where investments amount to 100 million euros, must reach its full capacity in the autumn of this year. There are yet to be opened 100 more jobs.
