6 Parties Will Enter Next Parliament, According to Poll

Six or seven political parties will enter the next Parliament, according to a survey by Alfa Research, the results of which were released on July 8.

It was conducted between July 4-7, among 1,013 adult Bulgarians across the country with own resources.

 "There is such a People" has marginal lead with 21. 8% of the support.

With a few days to go before the official campaigning period ahead of Bulgaria's July 11 early parliamentary elections, Boyko Borissov's GERB-UDF electoral coalition has 20.3 per cent of support among those who intend to vote, with Slavi Trifonov's ITN party close behind at 18.2 per cent, according to the results of a poll released by Alpha Research on June 9.

Bulgarian Socialist Party to Return Cabinet-Forming Mandate on 5 May

 

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will return the exploratory mandate to form a government on May 5.
The information was released by head of BSP-Sofia Kaloyan Pargov, emerging from a sitting of the BSP National Council on
Saturday.

"We made the decision to return the mandate, given the current situation and circumstances," Pargov said.
