Germnay has voted to legalise same-sex marriage.

Germany's Constitutional Court on Jan. 17 said the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD) resembled Adolf Hitler's Nazi party, but ruled against banning it because it presented no threat to democracy. 

BERLIN - The Bundesrat, the upper house of Germany's parliament, adopted a conclusion in which it called for prompt adoption of the first chapters in Serbia's EU accession talks, noting that this point should not be conditioned by progress in the search for a solution to the Kosovo issue.

STUTTGART - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met with representatives of German firms interested in investing in Serbia during a business meeting in Stuttgart on Wednesday.

The business conference, titled "Think New Opportunities, Think Serbia," was opened by Minister for the Bundesrat, Europe and International Affairs in Baden-Wuerttemberg Peter Friedrich.

STUTTGART - Peter Friedrich, minister for the Bundesrat, Europe and international affairs of Baden-Wurttemberg, stated on Wednesday that this state will call on Bundesrat to speed up the negotiating process with Serbia.
