Greek e-shops earn greater market share

Homegrown online shops are gaining ground in Greece, as 85 percent of consumers in the country use them for the vast majority of their online purchases, according to a survey by the E-Business Research Center of the Athens University for Economics and Business (ELTRUN) and the Association of Business and Retail Sales in Greece (SELPE).

Mid-season sales start Thursday, some stores open Sunday

The mid-season autumn sales begun on Thursday and will end on November 10, according to the country's retail associations.

Shops may also optionally open on Sunday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During the sales, shops must display both the new price and the old price of items, as well as advertising and displaying the percentage discount given on items. 

Petrol Prices in Bulgaria Rose by 20% Since the Beginning of the Year
