Netflix has launched a localized service in Turkey, rolling out a Turkish-language service, dubbing or subtitling the bulk of its programming in the territory to serve audiences.

The 7th Turkish Film Festival was launched on April 22 in Sarajevo, opening with Ozhan Eren's "Son Mektup" (The Last Letter). 

Organized by the Turkish Embassy's culture and tourism office, the festival will run until April 27, showing six films.

The Vancouver Turkish Films Festival (VTTF) will be organized for the first time between Jan. 23 and 25.

The founder and director of VTTF, Hakan Burcuo?lu, said their purpose was to promote Turkish culture, arts and identity in Vancouver, the third largest city in Canada and one of the most important filmmaking centers in North America.
