Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev has issued a stern warning regarding proposed changes to the Bulgarian cabinet, asserting that the responsibility for any impediments to his ministerial appointments will fall squarely on those who oppose them.

Government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis announced adjustments to the Cabinet on Monday following the resignation of two ministers last week - Minister of State Stavros Papastavrou and Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Yiannis Bratakos.

Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov has put forward an expected proposition within Bulgarian politics, suggesting a cabinet shuffle that would see him assuming the role of foreign minister. Denkov's proposal, disclosed during a session addressing citizen and journalist inquiries on Facebook, aims to streamline governance processes while fostering stronger international relations.

The Environment Ministry has presented its legislative proposals for construction outside designated zoning areas to the cabinet. Although the text of the draft law has not been disclosed, there is a prevailing impression that it aims to facilitate off-plan building activity.

Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov disclosed that any ministerial changes during the impending cabinet rotation in March would only occur upon mutual agreement between himself and Mariya Gabriel, the current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"There is no danger that the machine vote will be manipulated", said Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov from Brussels, after a report by the State Agency for National Security (SANS) revealed earlier that a deputy minister from the "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" quota had copied and exported codes for the machine vote on Sunday.

"Regarding the budget, what the finance minister told me is that some of the planned expenses will not be realized, not because someone will stop them, but because there is no readiness for them. However, we guarantee that there will be an increase in pensions, we also guarantee the social payments that were planned in the budget presented by the Cabinet".

The candidate for Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov presented the structure and composition of his government to the Bulgarian deputies. In the beginning, he warned that the unusual formula of a cabinet with rotating prime ministers was selected because of the difficult situation in the country in an attempt to avoid another election. Among the priorities of his government, he indicated:

Caretaker Prime Minister Ioannis Sarmas will chair the first full-length meeting of the caretaker cabinet shortly after noon on Saturday at the Maximos Mansion.

Sarmas had a brief meeting with the ministers after they were sworn in on Friday. The same day, the cabinet members received their portfolios at handovers in ministries.

The political situation is exacerbated, along with the crises Bulgaria is facing. This brings forth the need to form a regular government within the incumbent National Assembly.
