Heavy rains covered the northern regions of Italy, and in the southern regions there is warm weather unusual for the season.
In the southern part of Italy there was a tornado. It affected the city of Caserta in the Campania region. The wind turned a truck, pulled out trees and destroyed roofs.
No Bulgarians Reported Injured in Italy Earthquake
In the wake of the 4.0 magnitude earthquake which hit the Italian island of Ischia, the Bulgarian Embassy in Rome has announced that, for the time being, no Bulgarian nationals have been reported injured in the region.
The information was confirmed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, reported BGNES.
The biggest destruction in the Casamicciola municipality.

Two killed in 4.0 magnitude earthquake in Ischia, Italy (photos-videos)
A 4.0 magnitude earthquake on the Italian island of Ischia has left two dead and 25 more injured.
Italian media say up to 10 others are unaccounted for after buildings in the town of Casamicciola collapsed.
The island off the coast of Naples has a population of about 50,000 and is extremely popular with tourists.

A four-storey block of flats has collapsed near the city of Naples in Italy and at least six people are feared trapped, Sky News reported.
Firefighters are digging through rubble with their hands and passing debris out in buckets as they frantically try to save victims.Two families, including children, are thought to be among those being searched for.

The frescoes on the walls of Pompeii survived the volcanic eruption that destroyed the city and they were practically preserved because of the volcanic ashes that covered them.
After 2000 years they are been rediscovered and appreciated again by tens of thousands of people every year who visit the site.

The centuries-old wall paintings discovered in Lupanar, a historic Pompeii brothel, have shed insight into the sexual activities of ancient Italians, with depictions of explicit sex acts.
The brothel was a hangout for the wealthy and powerful before the Roman city was wiped out by a volcanic eruption in 79 AD.
