Aselsan builds tent city for 600 quake survivors
In the aftermath of the disastrous quakes, Türkiye's leading defense company Aselsan has established a tent city with a 600-people capacity in Hatay with its own cold and heat-resistant tents.
Healthcare workers are on duty at the tent city, which has kindergartens, laundry and shower facilities.

Homeless in Athens get basic essentials for winter
Athens Municipality has started to distribute backpacks filled with basic essentials for the winter to homeless people in the city.
On Thursday evening, street work teams distributed backpacks to homeless people, each of which contained sleeping bags, blankets, jackets, water resistant trousers, thermos flasks, flashlights and whistles.

Four arrested in central Athens after clash
Four people were arrested on January 1 in central Athens for possession of arms and a small quantity of drugs.
Police said the suspects, two Iraqi men aged 40 and 36, a 17-year-old Afghan man and a 19-year-old Greek woman, attacked each other for a yet unspecified reason last Monday on Omonoia square.

Migrants, Refugees Spurn Return to Torched Camp in Bosnia
After locals in the town of Bihac in northwest Bosnia protested against plans to relocate migrants and refugees from the torched Lipa camp to the Bira centre, inside the town, Bosnia ordered its armed forces to set up new tents in the Lipa camp where the migrants can stay until the winter adaptation of the camp is completed.
The next step of integration
In 2016, outside the village of Petra in the foothills of Mount Olympus, a deserted and crumbling psychiatric hospital that had at one time functioned as a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients became the site of a makeshift camp comprising canvas tents.
