Trapper sentenced to two years in prison for ordering cannabis online

A well-known trap artist from Thessaloniki has been sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for three years, after ordering 500 grams of cannabis during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The sentence came as part of a plea deal with the prosecutor under Greece's criminal negotiation system.

Nine arrested during soccer match

Nine people were arrested at the Athens Olympic Stadium stadium on Saturday during a soccer match between crosstown rivals Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, as police conducted extensive security checks.

In a statement on Monday, police said the suspects, aged between 17 and 46, were nabbed as part of an ongoing crackdown on sports-related violence.

Lamia: Three people arrested for drug and weapons offences

Three local residents—a man and two women—were arrested yesterday, Monday, September 23, at noon in Lamia for violations of drug laws and, in some cases, weapon laws.

Sofia Store Caught Selling Cannabis-Flavored Chewing Gum and Energy Drinks

A Sofia grocery store on "Vitosha" Blvd. was found selling chewing gum and energy drinks flavored with hemp and cannabis, as reported by the Sofia-City Regional Directorate for Food Safety. The products in question contained ingredients with psychotropic effects exceeding the legal limit of 0.2%. Their packaging also featured images of hemp plants, which is prohibited.

Police nabs two men suspected of selling drugs on Mykonos

Police arrested two men believed to be involved in drug trafficking on the island of Mykonos, authorities said on Thursday.

After receiving a tip, officers of the Coast Guard's Narcotics Enforcement Department found on a passenger ferry anchored at the port of Mykonos an unaccompanied suitcase containing a glass box with raw cannabis weighing 32.6 grams.

Police seize cannabis plants at heritage site in Diyarbakır

Security forces yesterday discovered over 3,000 cannabis plants during a drug operation in Hevsel Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Türkiye's southeast.

The police identified the illicit cultivation within the gardens in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, with the operation resulting in the seizure of 3,267 plants used in narcotic production.
