Researchers decode oldest human DNA from SAfrica to date
Researchers have reconstructed the oldest human genomes ever found in South Africa from two people who lived around 10,000 years ago, allowing a better understanding of how the region was populated, an author of the study said on Sept. 22.

Bulgarian Couple 'Executed' in Southern Suburbs Home in Cape Town
A Bulgarian facing charges relating to a credit card fraud syndicate was "executed" with his wife at their Cape Town home.
Police said they found Angelo Dimov and his second wife‚ Nessie Peeva‚ in Bergvliet‚ in the southern suburbs‚ with gunshot wounds to their heads. A police source said they were "executed" and laptops and cellphones had been stolen.
Tutu expected out of hospital next week: family
South African archbishop Desmond Tutu is expected to be discharged from hospital by the end of next week, his daughter said Aug. 27, as his health improves under treatment for a persistent infection.
