BELGRADE - At a meeting with Luxembourgish Ambassador to Belgrade Marc Hubsch, Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said a graphene nanotube factory - a first major Luxembourgish investment in Serbia - represented a new page in the history of the relations between the two countries.

Graphene nanotubes are used in production of e-vehicles.

Damascus blacksmiths had made steel blades with carbon nanotubes long before they were scientifically discovered

This is one of those stories about a technology invented and then forgotten. For example, when the Romans invented concrete and then another civilization reinvented it thousand years later. Well, it turns out that the skilled Damascus blacksmiths had produced blades containing carbon nanotubes at least 400 years before modern science began to understand their strength.

What the f…reeze: MIT researchers create nano-ice at scorching temperatures!

Quick, what temperature does water boil or freeze at? You probably know this like the back of your hand, 100 and 0 degrees Celsius or 212 and 32 Fahrenheit. Well, now we can freeze water above the boiling point. If you feel like your head’s about to explode with that image, don’t worry. We’ll explain.

The 10 strangest facts about Graphene

When first discovered, graphene was odd. Now odd is too small a word for a material seemingly set on winning all the records a material can win.
In the first part of our series, we looked at what graphene is and how it was discovered. In part two, we explored the different techniques we can use to make graphene.
