All quake-hit cultural structures recovered in 3 years
The Culture and Tourism Ministry aims to complete the work regarding all the cultural structures damaged by the Feb. 6 quakes within three years, a senior official has stated.
A large number of historical and cultural structures were damaged in the twin earthquakes that jolted the southern part of the country in early February.
Russia received an Invitation to Play in the Central Asian Football Association
Russia has been invited to participate in the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) championship in June, Reuters reported. This comes amid speculation that the Russian Football Union may switch to the Asian Confederation (AFC).
Russian football has been sanctioned by the European Football Federation (UEFA) as well as FIFA, but is seeking a return to international competition.
Government adopted amendment on Protection and Preservation of the Cyrillic Alphabet
The law regulates the use of the Serbian language and toughens measures for the protection of the Cyrillic alphabet as "mother script".
The Law on Official Use of Languages and Alphabets entered regular parliamentary procedure for adoption.

Nomad Games postponed due to COVID-19
The Fourth World Nomad Games, which are expected to be held in Turkey, have been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, the secretary general of the Turkic Council said.
"The Games had to be postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has gripped the world," Baghdad Amreyev said in a statement.

Serbia Proposes Law Changes to Halt Cyrillic's Decline
Against a background of fears that Latin letters are taking over, Serbia's Ministry of Culture has proposed toughening the law on the use of the Cyrillic script, creating a Council for the Serbian Language - and imposing fines for those who do not respect Serbia's "mother script".
