Adverse weather conditions are expected across Greece on Sunday with temperature drops, storms and snowfall.
In Attica, local rainfall is anticipated, with snowfall in the mountainous areas of the region. Temperatures will range from 7 to 9 degrees Celsius with high wind.

Ferries to resume departures from Piraeus
Passenger ferries will resume their schedules from Piraeus harbor after 5:30 p.m. as winds have moderated. The exception will be the flying dolphins plying the Saronic Gulf routes.
There will be no departures from Lavrio and Rafina, as weather conditions in the seas east of Attica are still unfavorable.

18-year-old hooligan confesses to attack against police officer in Rentis
An 18-year-old man confessed on Sunday to the assault against a 31-year-old police officer that occurred on Thursday night during a volleyball match between local rivals Olympiakos and Panathinaikos in Rentis, Piraeus.
The police officer is currently in critical condition at the General State Hospital of Nikaia.
Acheloos River’s partial diversion back on cards
The Environment Ministry is to resurrect the plan for the partial diversion of Acheloos River in Epirus, western Greece, the implementation of which has been annulled five times by the Council of State.
The project will be included in the water management plan of Thessaly and deemed as necessary to cover part of the water deficit.

Spercheios River overflows in Fthiotida as new storm pounds region
The region of Fthiotida in central Greece is on alert after Spercheios River burst its banks near the village of Frantzi, south of the city of Lamia, flooding adjacent agricultural lands.
