Revenue Agency Starts a Check of CEZ Bulgaria Sale to Inercom Bulgaria
The National Revenue Agency has begun a check in the deal between the electricity distribution company CEZ and Intercom, the Bulgarian National Radio said on 26th of February.

After it became clear that CEZ's governing bodies have approved a contract for the sale of their assets to Inercom Group, the reactions in parliament have not been delayed. Yesterday it was announced that the Czech concern CEZ sells its assets in Bulgaria and the buyer is Bulgarian company "Inercom Bulgaria".

CEZ Bulgaria: 'Non-Consolidated Net Profit Rose to BGN 20.8M' in the 1st Half of 2017
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria, majority owned by Czech power utility group CEZ, said on Monday its non-consolidated net profit rose to BGN 20.8 million in the first half of 2017, from BGN 11.8 million in the like period of 2016, SEE News Reports.
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria to Invest EUR 765,000 in Grid Upgrades in July
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria, a unit of Czech power utility group CEZ, said on Monday it intends to invest BGN 1.5 million (EUR 765,000) in electricity grid upgrades in July, according to SeeNews.
The company is launching 43 projects this month, with the largest one worth BGN 1.0 million to be implemented in Troyan municipality, CEZ Distribution said in a statement.
Czech Power Group Energo-Pro Submits Offer for CEZ Assets in Bulgaria
Czech power group Energo-Pro has submitted an offer for the Bulgarian assets of power utility CEZ Group, the company's Bulgarian subsidiary Energo-Pro Varna told SeeNews on Monday.
"We cannot provide further details as the procedure is still ongoing," Energo-Pro Varna's PR and marketing director Petya Popova told SeeNews in an e-mail.
EVN, NEK Settle Old, Multi-million Dispute
Austrian energy company EVN has reached an out-of-court settlement with the National Electric Company (NEK) on an old dispute dating back to 2012 - 2013.
The amount is unknown but the Austrian group estimates that the funds agreed will raise its net profit for the current quarter by EUR 38 M.

CEZ: No Fault of Our Equipment Caused Trouble With Toplofikatsiya
There has been no technical fault in the facilities owned by CEZ charging the pump station of Toplofikatsiya.
This has been cleared in a meeting between the management of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria with the management of Toplofikatsiya Sofia in order to clarify the reasons about the technical faults with the heating pipes.
