Airbnb, the leading community driven hospitality company,releasedm its 16 neighborhoods to travel to in 2016, based on travel patterns of more than 40 million people that stayed in homes on Airbnb in 2015 and selected neighborhoods in cities that have gained momentum in the past year.

Over 40 million people travelled in 2015 and stayed in homes through Airbnb in 150 countries around the world and most of them preferred to stay outside of traditional tourist hotspots.

After all, 74% of Airbnb properties are located in neighbourhoods which are away of famous tourist locations giving the opportunity to visitors to experience local life.
