In a pivotal moment for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), Delyan Peevski and Dzhevdet Chakarov have been elected as co-chairmen of the party during a national conference held in Sofia on Saturday.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) Honorary Chair Ahmed Dogan raised concerns about the party's evolving nature, warning against it becoming a "corporate partisan organization" driven solely by financial interests. Dogan stressed the importance of preserving traditional democratic values, highlighting a shift across all political forces in this direction.

The road to Zabardo village and Marvellous Bridges remains closed due to a rockslide. The stones were removed yesterday, but then the rockslide resumed.

Archaeology in Bulgaria reports that a team of researchers led by archaeologist Kalin Chakarov of the Pavlikeni Museum of History has investigated a water catchment reservoir at a spring inside Musina Cave, a water source that supplied the ancient city of Nicopolis ad Istrum. The city was founded by Emperor Trajan in the early second century A.D.

The second national exhibition of the Bulgarian comic book "Sofia Comic Expo 2017" will be opened in the Gallery of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) on Shipka Street 6 from evening at 6 pm, the organizers announced, reports chronicle.bg.
