With its geographical location, diverse economy and large market, Turkey offers immense opportunities for investors, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been in the country with a long-term commitment, Suma Chakrabarti, president of the development bank, told Hürriyet.

WASHINGTON - Serbia is exceptionally important for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the bank's share in investments in the country has been on the increase since it embarked on reforms two years ago, says EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti.

This is what the president of the financial institution, Suma Chakrabarti, said at a meeting with Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic in Washington.

The MoU is a joint initiative for development of investment climate, support to development of the private sector and promotion of good management in Serbia.
