A 34-year-old man was arrested in Attica on Wednesday by cyber crime unit officers on charges of peddling child pornography over the internet.

A 65-year-old man appeared before a prosecutor in Kalamata, southern Greece, Tuesday on charges of peddling child pornography over the internet.

The suspect was tracked down to his home in Messinia by the police cybercrime unit which was working on information received from a US nonprofit organization, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

A 7-year-old Syrian-Kurdish boy was found dead Friday night after he went missing earlier in the day from the Skaramangas refugee center west of Athens.

The parents of a 4-year-old girl who went missing west of Athens on Easter Sunday and was found the following day, were charged on Tuesday by an Athens prosecutor with neglecting their child and exposing her to danger.

A 4-year-old girl who was reported missing in Skaramagas, western Athens, on Easter Sunday, was located in Aspropyrgos on Easter Monday, authorities said.

According to reports, the girl was discovered near a hotel in Aspropyrgos by the area's harbor master during a large-scale search operation launched a day earlier.
