More children than ever before live in conflict zones and are threatened with death and violence, the charity Save the Children said. The most dangerous places for young people are Syria, Afghanistan and Somalia.

Africa Needs 11 Million Doctors, Nurses and Teachers
Africa will need up to 11 million doctors , nurses and teachers by 2030 in order to prevent a "socio-economic cataclysm" that will force millions of people to emigrate. That said the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), quoted by Reuters.

“Over the past 25 years, the world has made significant progress in saving young children’s lives,” the United Nations United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) concludes. According to the agencies recent report “Levels and Trends in Child Mortality: Report 2017″, the rate of child mortality fell 62 per cent from 1990 to 2016.

Children's rights in Turkey have not been improving over the years, with many continuing to lack education, a new report has said amid the marking of Universal Children's Day on Nov. 20.
Nov. 20 has been celebrated as Universal Children's Day since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989, which was signed by Turkey in 1990 and enacted in 1995.

Millions of Middle East children out of school, UN warns
Poverty, gender discrimination and violence are keeping more than 12 million children in the Middle East out of school, despite efforts to expand education, the UN children's agency warned April 15.
An additional three million children in Syria and Iraq have been forced out of school by conflict, UNICEF said in a new report.
