Ukraine is prepared for good-faith peace talks with Russia if Moscow is willing, though no such indication has come from Moscow, stated Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Guangzhou.

Ankara will continue to collaborate with Beijing to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during his three-day trip to China on June 4.

Fidan's remarks came during a joint press conference with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing. The Turkish top diplomat highlighted the alignment of views between Türkiye and China on numerous international issues.

China has affirmed its absence from an upcoming peace conference on Ukraine, hosted by Switzerland in June, as reported by Reuters, citing insights from four sources. The decision stems from unmet conditions for Ukraine and Russia's participation in the event scheduled for June 15-16.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is embarking on a six-day tour of Europe amidst escalating trade tensions with the European Union and concerns over China's support for Russia. The trip, Xi's first to the continent since 2019, includes visits to France, Serbia, and Hungary.
