26 Migrants Found in Truck Near Varshets, Investigation Underway
On the evening of November 28, 26 migrants were discovered in a truck on the road near the town of Varshets. The individuals, who are citizens of Libya, Afghanistan, and Syria, were found inside the cargo area of a vehicle with Sofia registration, owned by a Sofia resident.
State of Emergency Declared in Many Regions of Bulgaria, Heavy Rains Caused Massive Power Outage
More than 100 residential areas in the northwestern regions of Bulgaria were left without power last night owing to the damage caused by the heavy rains. Energy company crews are making repairs and work will continue until power supply is restored.
The situation is most severe in western Bulgaria.

There were fourteen people at the time of the explosion in the ammo factory Midzhur near the village of Gorni Lom in Bulgaria's north-west, witnesses say.
Initial reports suggested fifteen people could have been inside and feared dead, with the Interior Ministry saying there were no signs of life except for a movement of a wild animal detected earlier on Thursday morning.
