The deputy chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL, opposition) Raluca Turcan says that the chairman of the Social Democratic Party (main ruling PSD) sent Olguta Vasilescu, the Minister of Labor, to announce the Pension law prior to diaspora's meeting (August 10, ed. n), just like Nicolae Ceausescu did in 1989.

Footage has emerged showing European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker having to be supported by Nato leaders after repeatedly stumbling.
Mr Juncker, 63, was filmed by news agency AP struggling to keep his balance before a gala dinner in Brussels, Belgium.
This is not the first time he has been filmed unsteady on his feet.
