Lajovic beats Lacko to advance to Indian Wells second round

INDIAN WELLS - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic is through to the second round of the Indian Wells ATP tournament after beating Slovak Lukas Lacko 6-4, 6-4 on Friday.

Lajovic, who won after 84 minutes of play, will next face South Korean Hyeon Chung, who was seeded in the first round.

Chung knocks Djokovic out of Australian Open

MELBOURNE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is out of the Australian Open after suffering a 7-6 (7-4), 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) defeat to South Korean Chung Hyeon in the fourth round on Monday.

The six-time Australian Open champion came from behind in every set but failed to turn the match around.
