At least one of the parents of second generation migrants must have lived in Greece legally for at least five years before the child?s birth in the country for it to obtain Greek citizenship, according to a draft law due to be submitted to public consultation this week.

Busy with the second round of presidential elections, Romanian politicians have made no comment about the landmark European Court of Justice ruling on Tuesday, which said that EU citizens who move to another member state "solely in order to obtain social assistance" may be excluded from the full range of benefits.
