Hailed as one of the best jazz guitarists to emerge since the 1980s, Baltimore-born composer, musician and arranger Bill Frisell is coming to Athens on Saturday, March 25, to perform for one night at Gazarte.

Painter Metin Asağ's exhibition 'Reinvigoration' is on display at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert and Exhibition Hall in Istanbul through March 31.

The exhibition, displaying 33 paintings, showcases the historical development of Turks since they first settled in Anatolia.

Spanish pop singer Luz Casal will be on the stage on April 29 at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul to perform some of her most famous songs from her 30-year career.

Acclaimed opera singers and choirs of the City of Athens and state broadcaster ERT and the Athens State Orchestra will present Gaetano Donizetti's tragic opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" in concert form at the Athens Concert Hall on Monday, March 13. This bel canto jewel will be performed in the original Italian with Greek supertitles, and will be conducted by Loukas Karytinos.

The Goethe Institute in Sofia will steam live concerts of the Berlin Philharmonic, sources of the Institute said.

Out of hundreds of Goethe Institutes all over the planet, the one in Sofia is one of the very few, which is permitted to take part in this program.
