Turkish stars visit home on CRR stage
Turkish Y?ld?zlar Toplulu?u Orchestra, which is made up of Turkish stars who are undergoing their musical education abroad in footsteps of acclaimed composers such as Ahmet Adnan Saygun, Ulvi Cemal Erkin, Cemal Re?it Rey, Hasan Ferit Alnar, Necil Kaz?m Akses, will take the stage at Istanbul's CRR Concert Hall in April 21.

Festival to revive Ankara's music scene

Turkish cultural authorities have announced the creation of a classical music festival to promote Göbeklitepe, one of the world's most important archaeological sites on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with performances set for Istanbul and the eastern province of ?anl?urfa.

Sofia Hosts 16th Edition of European Music Festival
The Bulgarian capital will host the 16th edition of the European Music Festival, which will last between March 28 and June 8.
The festival will begin with a concert by prominent Israeli violinist and conductor Shlomo Mintz who will perform at Bulgaria Concert Hall at 19:30 o'clock (EET) on Monday.
A rare Mozart score found in a Czech museum
A long-lost musical composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri was found tucked away in the collection of the Czech national museum.
“It’s a joint composition by Mozart and Salieri, a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte put to music,” Sarka Dockalova, the museum’s spokeswoman, told AFP.

Shakespeare inspires Istanbul Music Festival
