Faz?l Say to play with Orpheus at Carnegie Hall
In the final concert of its annual series at New York?s Carnegie Hall this season, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will be joined by Turkish pianist and composer Faz?l Say for the New York premiere of his new Chamber Symphony, Op. 62, commissioned by Orpheus as part of its American Notes initiative.

Artis Quarter to perform in Kolarac Endowment
BELGRADE - The famous Artis Quartet from Vienna will stage a concert in the Kolarac Endowment on April 22 together with pianist Anika Vavic.

Music festival hits the road in Turkish capital

Coroner confirms dairy student killed himself
A coroner has confirmed that 20-year-old dairy school student Vangelis Giakoumakis, whose body was found in a field in the northwestern city of Ioannina, killed himself.
The coroner?s report said that no other DNA was found on or near Giakoumakis?s body. The Cretan student, who had drunk a small amount of alcohol before his death, slit his right wrist.

Constantine Koukias to present his new chamber opera 'Kimisis' in Sydney
Greek-Australian composer Constantine Koukias will present his new chamber opera "Kimisis" at Verge Gallery in Sydney from March 25-28.
A hit at Tasmania's MONA FOMA Festival in 2010, Kimisis is a gallery-style installation work written and directed by Koukias, a Tasmanian composer and opera director of Greek ancestry based in Amsterdam.
