Public Outrage: Sofia's Trams Cleaned with Rakia and Employees’ Own Equipment!
The Bulgarian political party "Spasi Sofia" (Save Sofia) has raised concerns about the hygiene practices in Sofia's public transport system, claiming that trams are being cleaned with alcohol (in this case rakia) and personal vacuum cleaners.

The Firm Responsible for Cleaning the Snow in the Lyulin Area will be Punished for Bad Work
Sanctions will be given to the company, which cleans the snow from the biggest residential complex - Lyulin. This was announced by the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, quoted by bTV. The reason is a poorly done job during the extremely difficult day for the drivers yesterday.
Cleaners demonstrate outside Parliament
Cleaning staff at Greek schools held a 24-hour-strike on Friday and demonstrated outside Parliament to protest against low wages.
According to the Federation of Private Employees of Greece (OIYE), cleaners work at schools on a contract basis and receive wages that do not correspond to the service provided.

Police prevent protesting cleaners from reaching PM's office
Cleaners employed by Athens bus and trolley bus operator OSY were prevented by police from approaching Maximos Mansion, the office of the prime minister, on Thursday.
The cleaning staff held a demonstration in central Athens to protest six months of unpaid wages.
