President Francois Hollande arrived in the Philippines on Feb. 26, accompanied by two of France's leading actresses, to promote the fight against climate change ahead of a crucial summit of world leaders.

BEOGRAD - According to the latest climate change mitigation research, Serbia ranks as 73rd among the 192 parties to the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change, Serbian Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic said Monday, chairing the first meeting of the National Council on Climate Change.

For "shall", substitute "may". For example, change "countries signing this climate change treaty SHALL state how much they are going to cut their greenhouse emissions" to "countries signing this climate change treaty MAY state how much they are going to cut their emissions if they feel like it, but if they don't, hey, no problem."

The 194 states that participated at the United Nations (UN) Lima Climate Change Conference, which began in Peru on December 1, finally reached an agreement on the necessary measures to tackle climate change early on Sunday.
