The first day of school in Bulgaria began with cool temperatures ranging from 6 to 11 degrees Celsius in most areas, while in South-Eastern Bulgaria and along the Black Sea, temperatures are slightly higher, reaching up to 15-16 degrees.

Cloudy weather will be outdoors across the country today (Wednesday, Sept. 4), with scattered clouds that will thicken the afternoon and bring localized showers.

Thursday will continue to experience warm temperatures, with maximums reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius. The day will begin with minimum temperatures ranging from 16 to 21 degrees across the country, and up to 21 degrees on the coast. It will be sunny in the morning, but clouds will start to develop over the mountains in the afternoon, although no precipitation is expected.

The winds will blow northeast at 3 to 5 in the western regions & north at 4 to 6 in the eastern regions locally reaching 7 beaufort in the Aegean Sea – The temperature will experience a slight increase mainly in the western areas

Overnight, cloud cover will disperse and decrease to mostly clear skies across the western half of the country, while rain will persist in the eastern regions. A gentle to moderate breeze will blow from the west-southwest.

It will be cloudy today, over the mountain areas mostly significant, there will be almost no precipitation. In the morning hours, there will be low clouds or fog in places in the eastern areas. The wind will remain from the northeast, moderate, in places in Central South Bulgaria and along the Black Sea - temporarily strong.

Sunny weather will prevail today. It will blow to moderate, in Eastern Bulgaria - temporarily strong northeast wind. The maximum temperatures will be between 25°C and 30°C, in Sofia - about 25°C.

Sunny weather will prevail in Northern Bulgaria, and over the South the cloudiness will be changeable, often significant, and in places there will be short-term precipitation. It will blow weak, in Eastern Bulgaria - a moderate north-easterly wind. The maximum temperatures will be between 24°C and 29°C, in Sofia - around 24°C.

Sunny weather will prevail today. There will be more significant increases in cloudiness before noon over the eastern regions, and after noon over the mountainous regions, but only in some places it will rain for a short time. A weak, moderate north-easterly wind will blow in the eastern regions. Maximum temperatures will be between 32°C and 37°C, in Sofia - around 31°C.

Today it will be mostly sunny, in the afternoon with cumulus clouds, more significant - over the extreme western mountain areas and there is a small chance of rain. It will blow to moderate, in the southeastern regions - temporarily strong northeast wind.
