Greece reportedly faces EU fine over time change
Greece faces a European Commission fine after introducing Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, according to sources.
For every hour that passes from 3 a.m. on Sunday, when clocks were turned forward to 4 a.m., the country will face a fine of 17,650 euros, the same sources said, noting that the fine will remain in place until clocks are turned back to their original time.

Summer time starts on Sunday morning
Clocks move forward an hour on Sunday at 3 a.m., marking the start of summer time.
The European Parliament recently approved the scrapping of the time change from 2021.
A European Union survey last year showed that more than 80 percent of Europeans were against the clock changes.

Turkish government has no plans to revert to winter time
The Turkish government has no plans to move back to winter time despite widespread discontent with the amount of darkness in the morning, particularly in western Turkey, said Deputy Prime Minister and cabinet spokesperson Numan Kurtulmuş.
Bulgaria Switches to Winter Time on Sunday
Bulgaria will change to winter time on 04:00 EEST October 30, with clocks going back to 03:00 (EET).

Turkey to keep clocks on summer time all year round
Turkey will not make any changes to its time this weekend, while European countries will set their clocks back one hour on Oct. 30.
Turkey had previously acted in accordance with European countries regarding the practice's beginning and ending dates, but last month the government decided not to turn back its clocks on Oct. 30.
Clocks to go back an hour on Sunday morning
Clocks in Greece should be set back an hour at 4 a.m. on Sunday to 3 a.m. as Daylight Saving Time ends.
The next time clocks will change will be on the last Sunday of March 2017, when official summer time will begin.
